The Forensic ReEntry Peer Recovery Support Specialist Training equips individuals with the knowledge and skills to support others dealing with mental health challenges, trauma, addiction, and involvement in the criminal justice system. Leveraging personal experience, trainees learn to offer compassionate guidance, practical resources, and hope to those reentering the community after incarceration or navigating legal difficulties. This program prepares participants to serve as vital sources of support and inspiration in the reentry and recovery process.

This training is also available to incarcerated individuals through a correspondence-based format. Enrollment and program administration for incarcerated learners are handled by GOPARAPRO, which manages enrollment, student communications, assignment processing, and the mailing of course materials.
